Sunday Seven: Winter Is Coming

Mega-Fluffies are available at QVC.
Fluffies come in all sorts of colors. Mine is yellow.

It’s snowing here in Northern Virginia.  To celebrate, here are:

Seven Things I Like about Cold Weather

  1. Drinking Cafe Escapes’ Chai Latte.  It’s warm and cinnamony, just perfect for a cold, wintery afternoon.
  2. Snuggling under my Mega Fluffie while watching television.
  3. The bottle of water in my car stays cold.

Yep.  That’s it.  Hurry up, Spring.

  1. I envy that you can choose to stay inside! I have to put on my boots, clear off my car, and go to work in a couple hours. Lucky you!

    1. And yet, I too put on my boots, cleared off the car, then drove to McDonald’s to get something to eat. Actually, I did it to get the windows cleared off before the ice came. It’s much more pleasant an activity when you don’t HAVE to do it. 🙂

  2. Gail, that’s about all I can put on my list, too. LOL The snow is pretty today, though, and the football games in snow were epic! 🙂

Suzanne, I feel your pain. We’re supposed to get ice overnight. My kid has a 2-hour delay, but I’ll have to get up at 5 so I have enough time to scrape my car in the 20-degree weather.

    1. I heard on the radio today that nearly all the footballs games in the winter storm were terrific. Except for the Redskins of course. 😀

Oi, I surely do not miss scraping off the car in freezing weather. I’ll think warm thoughts for you.

      1. Well, the Redskins game was terrific if you’re a Kansas City fan. LOL

It wasn’t too bad this morning. Not cold, despite being 29 degrees. Just a bit challenging. The thickness and stubbornness of the ice on our cars took a lot of us by surprise.

God (or McD’s) love ya for going out when you didn’t have to! LOL
